Default Problems. Help Please?

My computer for some reason resets itself at random
intervals for no reason whatsoever. We have run virus
scans and all that kind of thing, but they say nothing is
wrong. Does anyone know whats going on. Thanks.

Check your hardware. Make sure everything is working.

Also right click on My Computer, select Properties, Advanced, Startup
and Recovery, and then remove the check box Automatically restart.

Yes I unchecked that box and instead of restarting I get
a blue screen that tells me to restart my computer. How
do I check my hardware? thanks.
