Default Challenging Problem : "Not enough storage..." error when joining domain

Hi,

I brought my personal laptop to work and I tried to join one of our domains.
I called IT and they got my machine registered into the domain. When I go
into the control panel I try to join the domain and it gives me the
following error message:

"The following error occurred attempting to join the domain "ABC":
Not enough storage is available to complete this operation."

These are the steps I'm following to get the

Start-Control Panel-System-Computer Name tab
Click on Change...
Change from Workgroup: WORKGROUP to Domain: ABC -hit OK
"Enter the name and password of an account with permission to join the
domain."-I enter my user name (abc\francis) and password
I wait for 10-15 seconds and I get the error message above.

Ideas?

Francis

The error suggests you may have your IRPStackSize value set too low:

http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=225782
Err Msg: Not Enough Server Storage Is Available to Process This Command
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=285089
IRPStackSize Parameter in Windows 2000
