Banner ad blocking
Actually, none of us really caught it. JohnD66 is simply a troll. And we've
been feeding him. "JohnD66" wrote in message ... "Heather" wrote in message ... "JohnD66" wrote in message ... "Richard Pounder" wrote in message ... Not only does Windows XP not have anything to block banner ad programs, they don't have anything to block pop-ups. Thanks for the correction, asshole. Nice mouth!! It doesn't exactly make anyone want to help you out Nobody did, when I posted a curteous question, stupid. ........and AFAIN, IE7 certainly does block pop-ups........but I primarily use Firefox and it DEFINITELY does block them via the use of "AdBlock"........which is a small program you add to the browser. Now.......don't be rude or I shall be forced to get the bar of Sunlight Soap out and shove it down your throat!! (G) OK, I'll politely tell you to lose 40 pounds and maybe you'll be able to attract a new girlfriend, if you use the soap to decrease the smell. If you shave your legs and your upper lip, maybe you could even get a guy, who knows. "JohnD66" wrote in message ... I recently changed AV programs from Kaspersky to Norton/Symantec. The Norton/Symantec AV doesn't have banner ad blocking, and I'm hoping that Win XP might have some settings somewhere that minimize these annoying banner ad programs (they do for pop-ups). Anybody know of anything? Thanks |

Look above. The first 2 lines were in reply to your question - a perfectly correct and precise answer. Look now at your reply below that, and then go figure why any one should want to help you in future. He's simply trolling. |
