Just to clarify I am using the installed modem and a
normal phone line. I am using the XP software and recieve manually without any problems. Thanks |

Thanks Open the Fax Console and check the Enable Sending when you go through the Fax Configuration Wizard. You can also reach that choice from Fax Right-click/Properties/Devices/Properties within the Printers and Faxes folder. Sending and Receiving are individually enabled. -- Earl F. Parrish |

Thanks Earl, I checked that and did have the send fax
enabled. The problem I have discovered centres around the fax programme not detecting a dial toe or saying another program is using the modem. I am stumped as the modem works fine when accessing the internet and recieving faxes but will not send. Thank you -----Original Message----- wrote in message ...
