It's free and has many other features.

I've tried that recently (were you the one that recommended it?). So far
I'm happier with it than I was with Revo or IOBit. However, I don't do a
*lot* of uninstalls, so it takes a while to generate a significant
amount of experience :-)

Yes. I did and do recommend Advanced Uninstaller. I've been using it
for years when I initially had to pay for it. The Registry Backup has
saved me two times in the past when the Windows Restore didn't work. I
also use the 'startup' feature to easily disable pgms that got into the
startup routine. Glad you like it!

The only flaw is that it does not display the file size of each
installed program.

I never thought about that. If you want to know the size this program
does that. http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner When Crap Cleaner is
loaded, look under TOOLS. It will show all of your installed programs
and the size.

It will show the size if you select the program, but I'd like to see the
sizes in the window, and be able to sort on size, installation date, etc.

I can't help you there. I only have suggestions on programs that are
useful to me.

Doesn't that information reside in Windows, Control Panel, Programs and
Features. It gives you all that you ask and it's an easy sort.

What I don't like about Advanced Uninstaller is that it doesn't show the
count of uninstallers that it found. That can be useful information,
since it could indicate if AU is not finding everything you might wish
to uninstall.

Earlier in this thread, I indicated that I came to believe that Revo
free version indeed doesn't work with 64-bit software, which I didn't
believe when someone mentioned that here. I.e., that count was an easy
test that very quickly proved to me that I was wrong :-)

Meantime, I am prepared to live happily with AU's flaws.

A 64-bit Revo was shipped just days ago, Gene. I have the Pro version
so I don't know if there's a free version.
