Default Windows 8 Store Tile on the Start Page

Today I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 8. Everything went well except
for one thing. When I click on the Windows Store tile on the start page,
nothing happens. All my other tiles work. Does anyone else who upgraded
have this problem? Is there a way to fix this? I went to the Windows Store
by typing the web address in IE9 and signed in using my Microsoft account
but could not find any free games such as Spider Solitaire. Since the
upgrade wiped out all of my Windows 7 games, I thought I would be able to
download the games from the Windows Store. Does anyone know how to get the
free games that the Windows Store was suppose to have?

Use a MSFT account to logon to Windows
Solitaire is an X-Box Live app - Microsoft Solitaire Collection

A tile should exist on the Start Screen.
If not, go to the MSFT Store
swipe or scroll the screen right to the Games section, change the category to Card and look for the Microsoft Solitaire Collection.

Fyi...if you are using Windows 8 you are using IE10. Ensure you access the 'Store' from the Windows 8 Start Screen (fka Metro UI).

I had something similar happen with the Mail program. Try going into
the Desktop and use the task manager to end the Store task and see if
that helps. It worked for me with the Mail app.
