Default EaseUS Partition Master

installed and used EaseUS Partition master.
Easy to use and did the job BUT it left a system tray icon.

How do I keep Partition Master but get rid of the tray icon ?
Too much clutter there already.

This app has crappy on-line help.
Stupid stupid stupid.
What if i cannot get on-line ?
It is not searchable either.
Why do mfrs do this stupidity ? LAZY !

I will uninstall and give bad reviews if i cannot get this simple task
done.

Here is evidence of the tray icon.

Using Autoruns from Sysinternals.com, you should be
able to remove/disable it. It might even have been disabled, with
the correct box ticking during the install of the program.

But in any case, Sysinternals Autoruns shows the pest
and the path used. If it still annoys you, you can rename
or delete the thing it executes. I recommend renaming,
in case the rest of the software becomes "upset".

EaseUS is a piece of crap if you ask me. I wanted to try the demo and
may have even been willing to pay their rather high price if it could
save the data on my bad partition. I downloaded it, installed it to my
XP desktop machine. Right away it wanted me to go online and give them
personal info. I skipped that and ran it. It did not tell me much of
anything. I decided to try to run the data retrieve part of it. (Their
website claims I can get 2gb free of saved data). As soon as I tried to
go to that feature it insisted going online. That computer has no
internet connection. Never has, never will. I removed EaseUS. I hate any
and all software that insists on going online. They lost me as a
possible customer.

You haven't said _which_ EaseUS product. The one of theirs people most
commonly use is their partition manager; most people (including me) find
it, even the free version, does the job we want it to. Sounds like
you're talking of some data recovery product.

I dislike it too, but with a reasonable firewall (I use the ancient
Kerio, 2.1.5, on my XP), most of them can be beaten into submission.
