Default Shut Down Executable

Hi,

Can somebody guide me on how to get Windows XP Pro to run an executable when
Shut Down is initiated, either from the StartShut Down or using the power
switch.?

An example of what I had in mind is to get something like Disk Cleaner run
whenever the machine is shot down for the day.

This is as opposed to specifying a program to run on Start Up.

Regards and thanks in advance for any illumination.

Hi,

Thanks for the response.

I did check Scheduled Tasks (if that is the same as the Task Scheduler you
mentioned) - however it has a setting for "At System Start Up" and not for
"At System Shut Down", or maybe I did not know where to look.

Regards.
