I still don't see how you think a name brand machine is better =

than
one that is built from off the shelf components.

It really comes down to QA and design.

Yes, I know. QA on Bestec and Delta Electronics leaves much for
improvement. They should consider asking the other big PS builder=

s how
to build one properly that will last and won't underpower the mac=

hine.

Not sizing a power supply correctly is a fault at the PC build lev=

el not
at the build level of a PSU.

The thing that IS the fault of PS manufacturers is lying on the rat=

ing plate.
Sometimes I deliberately buy a cheap **** PSU, run it at the wattag=

e it claims to be able to do,
watch it go bang, then take it back to the shop to **** them off.

Really, how do you do that? What do you use as a load?

A graphics card and a CPU doing complex calculations.

How do you measure the power consumed?

A plug in electric meter, and also I know the power rating of the CPU=

and graphics card.

Well I'm surprised they go bang just doing that. Underpowering I get, =

and even short lifespans, but anyway the Dell
kit I buy tolerates spikes and power outages 1 second and has the us=

ual overheat and short circuit protection.
As you would expect. This machine is a 9 year old Dell and it's still =

using the original PSU. Before about a month ago it was on
for 16 hrs a day 7/365 for nearly nine years. Cats are lucky though.=

Have fun deliberately blowing up PSU's.

If you buy a non-branded or cheap **** PSU, for example an Alpine: http:=
//www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111879681010
I guarantee if you draw what it says on the rating plate, it will break,=
with a smell. =A319 for 750W? Not a chance.
I've never known one produce the wrong voltage though. Ok, they're not =
as precise under heavy load, you might get 11.5V instead of 12. But tha=
t doesn't stop anything working. Chips run at 1.5V, it's stepped down b=
y a circuit on the motherboard or graphics card anyway.

Ever stop to think, and forget to start again?

Frankly, if you gave me a free Ferrari, I would sell it.

If they are giving a Ferrari to everyone with a different car, then
your new free Ferrari is worth exactly $0.

I can get a Windows 10 "upgrade" for free by just allowing it to
happen. Why would I want the copy of Windows 10 you rejected, and pay
for it?

For giving to someone else? Not really talking about Windows 10, it's
just
your analogy is horrible.

Have a good one.

I didn't start the Ferrari / Win 10 analogy so I suppose I am guilty of
propagating a horrible analogy.

If everyone with a car got a free Ferrari, no one would buy one off of
you.
It would have no value ... was the point of that. I shouldn't have
re-applied that to the Win 10 update, it was a horrible anaolgy.

He said if someone gave him a Ferrari he would sell it

A Ferrari may not be the most reliable sports car, but it's worth a hell
of a lot more than the average car.

A Ferrari gets you access to what's between a woman's legs; a Chrysler
transforms whatever you have into what's between a woman's legs.

Me? No I don't use any clouds. MY documents are on MY property. I only access the internet from a desktop. My mobile phone is for texts and phonecalls. In fact it usually lives at home so I don't lose it or get it wet. It's also cheaper than using a landline.

Sorry, I must have mistaken you for someone that said they
used Win 10 on their Desktop. And if you read the TOS, Win 10 IS a
cloud app.

They store my documents on the cloud without me asking? Prove this with a link or shut up trolling.
