Connecting camcorder
Hi! I have a Panasonic camcorder w/built in digital still
Camera. I don't have a problem getting the stills up on my computer, but i can't get the video to do the same. The camera uses VHS-C tapes. Any suggestions??? |

Connecting camcorder
If it's using VHS-C it's an analog camcorder. You will have to have a
separate analog capture card or a grahics card with VIVO (video in and video out) capabilities) such as the All in Wonder range from ATI. You cannot capture analog video through the same serial port you are using to capture the PhotoShot (still images). The data throughput on a serial port is nowhere near fast enough to capture moving pictures. For some hardware reviews of analog capture cards, see www.vcdhelp.com Cari www.coribright.com "Marge" wrote in message ... Hi! I have a Panasonic camcorder w/built in digital still Camera.
