Win 10 Start Screen & Start Menu Switching
So in Windows 8.1 I can default to the desktop and hitting the logo key
jump back and forth to the Metro screen. But I can't seem to so that in Windows 10. I'm stuck on desktop. And I've got all those damn apps in my start menu that I don't want, like camera and photos etc. And other than a registry hack or switching the option to boot to desktop, I can't find any good help in google either. I've sent feedback to MS and one can only hope they carry over the win8 function to win10 one day before release. Anyone out there got any suggestions? |

If you click on "AllApps" at the bottom of the start menu you will see a column of miniaturised metro style tiles. If you don't want the tiles attached to the sidebar of the start menu, right click each one in turn and select "Unpin". When you have unpinned them all the sidebar will close. |
