Default Outlook Express "mark as ignore" rule doesn't directly hide the message ?

Hello all,

I'm using Outlook Express with a setting which hides all messaged marked
"ignore". I've also got a rule which marks certain messages to be ignored.
But for some reason those messages are still visible when they have just
come in.

Is there a way to tell OE to hide the message the first time too ? I'm
hiding them because I do not want to see them until I specifically enable
them, and having them in my sight when they come in goes against that ..

Regards,
Rudy Wieser

P.s.
Deleting those messages is not an option: it breaks OE's "mark any responses
to a watched/ignored message as also being wached/ignored" mechanism.
