XP starts IEEE 1394 drives on any file delete
I have several Firewire drives and I have my system configured to turn them
off pretty quickly since I don't use them often. However, every time I delete a file on any hard drive, XP starts all the Firewire drives. This can cause a pretty long and annoying wait. Is there a way to configure XP so it does not turn on all the drives when I delete a file? Thanks a lot. David Liebtag PS If this is not the correct news group for this question, I would appreciate a pointer to a more appropriate group. |
