That's your opinion. You have a right to your opinion, even though if
differs from mine.


I don't use Norton AV but I do remember many years ago when it was a
resource hog and got its hooks into every part of the OS making it near
impossible to uninstall properly. My understanding is that some years
ago that the code was completely rewritten and the app was very
streamlined and was no longer a resource hog.
