XP service Pack will not install
Hi,
I upgraded a CPU and Motherboard to a Pentium IV processor on an Intel MB for a client today, and when I went to windows update to load SP2 I received an error saying the product key might be pirated!?!?! and that I could not proceed with the Service Pack installation. What the ----! The OS was purchased from a retail store and I can find nothing on the MSKB about this. Any suggestions?? Besides telling my client to switch to Linux?? Thanks in Advance, Neil |

That's Lovely. So, in order to support your product, my client must spend the money to buy a copy of software that they have ALREADY purchased once before? Nice Anti-piracy methods. I hope you at lease screw the bad guys too. |
