Default auto snap shot windows 10

while gaming i find window 10 has been taking snap shots of my gaming. if
some one has had this problem how do i turn it off.

example while gaming i hear a camara shutter sound. i had no idea at the
time. i now have over 1.63gig of snap shots.

the funny thing is it does it randomly. Ie when it wants.

While gaming, have you been hitting a key sequence
that happens to be a key sequence for taking snapshots
like that ?

Maybe the game has such a hot key ?

What I'd do, is use Sysinternals Process Monitor, leave it
running with no filter, collect a trace while you're gaming.
Then, stop the trace (from the ProcMon file menu, undo the
tick mark). Then scroll back and see what is doing WriteFile
in the directory with the snapshots in it. The name of that
process, will tell you whether it's an in-game feature,
or a Win10 feature.

*******

And you could compare your symptoms to the results here. There's
PrintScreen and Game Bar, to name two.

It does the same thing on the Xbox One. At least, it did with the
Sunset Overdrive masterpiece I played not too long ago. It's supposed
to facilitate sharing onto Youtube which for some would be a killer
feature.

.... whenever it thinks you did something special.
