Default SP2

I am currently getting ready to roll out SP2 for Windows XP Pro. I have some
concerns and I'm hoping that someone can help me with some questions I have.

The first question is will SP2 cause any problems with the cumulative
security patches that have been released?

Currently, it looks like there were numerous security updates that were
released as of 4/9/05.

Q. "The first question is will SP2 cause any problems with the cumulative
security patches that have been released?"

A. No. All were thoroughly tested for compatibility with SP2.

Thanks for answering.

After SP2, would I need to run for cumulative updates?

Win XP SP2 includes all security patches up to the point of RTM. Subsequent
patches must still be installed separately as an on-going practice to keep
the OS secure and up-to-date.

Hope this helps. Do let us know. Thanks!
