parasite on xp computer
Recently started getting TREMENDOUS number of popups.
Bought spyware remover with popup stop. Spy Nuker identifies parasite as "slotch" hijacker, which also sends my web homepage to "about blank" and adds its own icons on my desk top and also adds favorites to my files. Spyware identifies parasite as being two items in the Registry Entry and gives lengthy ID's for them, starting with HKEY_ (I have the complete ID's). Although the spyware says it is removing them when I tell it to, it doesn't remove them. Any suggestions, short of taking a baseball bat to my computer? |
