Default Local Administrator can't install

Hi guys,

I've finally managed to find a solution that seems to
work.

Open a cmd prompt (start / run cmd)
and in it enter the commands:

cacls "C:\Program Files" /t /e /g Users:R
cacls "C:\Program Files" /t /e /g System:F
cacls "C:\Program Files" /t /e /g Administrators:F

These will restore part of the installation default
permissions.

It worked for me!!

Good luck.

I have two XP machines where the network users, who are
local admins on the machine, cannot install

applications.
If I give another network user local admin rights the

same
thing occurs. If I log in as domain admin I have no
problems. Any Ideas? Thanks in advance!!
