Dragging windows setting Changed?

A setting has changed? Now when I hold down/drag a window to another location
- I only see the bounder outline of the window, while dragging. How come? I
used to see the the entire contents of the window while dragging it.

Control Panel Display Properties Appearance tab Effects button
checkmark in 'Show window contents when dragging'

Many people prefer to see only the outline since displaying the entire
window uses additional RAM, which slows your computer.

Leonard Grey, Thanks. I hope you come back this way and read this. I used to
know that setting but its been awhile since exploring, 'Display', Settings &
options.

This UNacknowledged, change, occured immediately after I had run a,
'Register Fixing,' program. Interesting, as it had initially blocked me from
opening any of the applications in the Control Panel altogether. So, this
doesn't surprise me now.

I only resorted to the, 'Register Fixing,' program because of chronic
Lock-ups/Crashes, because running a program like that is very, very risky.

The best advice you'll get in these newsgroups is to stay away from
programs that claim to 'fix' your registry.

That's correct. Using a registry cleaner is very risky and that's why
you should never run such a program. Besides, whatever your problems
were, it was unlikely to fix them. There are other, much better ways
to troubleshoot problems.

NO, Ken Blake, you are very very much mistaken.

I FINALLY decided too run a, 'Registry Scan,' using - IObit's Advanced
WindowsCare V2 Personal; freeware I downloaded from www.cnet.com.

It FIXED a YEAR long gruelling problem that consumed a couple hundred hours
of my life! So, this dragging issue, was a very very tiny price to pay.
Corrupt files I cannot fix. Again, I am so glad I chose to run this Registry
Scan program; I'd do it again in a heart beat if I were not able to view
'News Videos,' like before I use it.

No Regrets, What's so Ever. I highly recommend this Freeware to everyone!
