deleting an old screen Name
Help!!!
I recently bought a used laptop from a rental store. I finally broke down & went online with it. The problem is that whoever had it before me somehow locked their password into the system. When I log on, I automatically go to this person's email account. How can I totally delete this person's ghost OFF of my computer? Thanks for all suggestions and replies. Dale |

deleting an old screen Name
Greetings,
Assuming you mean within Messenger or some other .NET Passport enabled site (aka Hotmail), you can remove this click the Start Button, then click the Control Panel. Then, click User Accounts in the Control Panel. Select your account name, and then on the left side of the screen, under Related Tasks, click 'Manage my Network Passwords'. In the window that opens, click the Passport.Net\* (Passport) entry and click 'Remove'. ____________________________________________ Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Messenger/MSN Messenger Associate Expert http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/ Messenger Resources - http://messenger.jonathankay.com "dalerogers" wrote in message ...
