Default Problem with my internet and etc..?

I can download the critical updates but they do not
install. They just go away, disappear. I cannot look at
the registry because it closes after about 15 seconds as
do other programs when installing them. I had the sasser
worm, and I don't know if this is a result of it. I don't
have a problem with explorer though.

I have Windows XP and ever since a few weeks ago, my web
sites keep shutting off, sometimes it says Windows
Explorer has encountered a problem and other times it
just shuts off without warning. I go to download a
critical update from Winsows XP but during that download
an error occurs or it just turns off, I cant seem to
download that critical update (and I dont even know if
that will help but im trying)

Is this happening to anyone else where there internet
explorer is running slow and always shutting off and if
so, how did you fix this problem?

Any help would be appreciated

Also all these popups are occuring to my computer, the
topic is like 3rd party advertisments or something, its
so annoying? Any help would be great, thanks!

You say " you had the Sasser Worm", Did you get rid of it?? And if so, how
did you "get rid of it"?
What error messages if any are you getting?
Do you have "UPDATED" Anti-Virus installed, and have you used it?
What does a virsus scan tell you?
Have you tried any of the many free "online" virsus scan tools? Have you
tried to hit start, and then type in shutdown -a when the computer says it
is shutting down?
Then connect to get the necessary updates.
Does it run OK in "Safe Mode" ?

Are you king822 or betcom1 ??

Try giving us a little more information on the
problem............................
