Default web host doesn't allow .exe download

Greetings,

I have a ton of .exe's uploaded on my server, but am not able to
download them; when i try to i get: "HTTP 404 - File not found". If i
try and download other file extensions, it works. I spoke to my web
host and they confirmed that they don't allow .exe's download for
security concerns.

Is there a way around this? I mean is there a script out there can
"trick" the browser into allowing .exe downloads? Or is there an
alternative out there?

I really need this guys, so any help is grealty appreciated.
