Workgroup file sharing
I have a workgroup that I can see all of the computers
that are connected to the workgroup, can browse 3 of them, but cannot browse 2 of them. I can ping all of the machines in the workgroup. Internet connection sharing is working fine. Network configuration is: Sys1: XP Pro Desktop, wired, can see all, can browse Sys2, Sys3 Sys2: XP Pro Desktop, wired, can see all, can browse Sys1, Sys3 Sys3: XP Home Laptop, wired, can see all, can browse Sys1, Sys2 Sys4: XP Pro Desktop, wired, workgroup not accessable Sys5: XP Pro Desktop, wireless, can see all computers, but cannot browse. Any help would be appreciated. Hank |

can you ping them by name? what do you get if using net view \\hostname
