This is the only error now...
WindowsMail still wont work after the SystemRecovery. I Googled but what I
found failed to work. Options/Advanced/ect. And looking I found the Recovery did nothing! There are almost 19,000 KBs of stored messages in WindowsMail that keep coming back and can't seem to be permanently deleted. Also spellchecker no longer works. The Newsgroups work fine. Is there some way I can delete WindowsMail and download a safe virus free working copy? The original poster had several problems, but never came back to confirm final success. OK, this is what I did because there were more bugs than just that. Recovered messages were flooding the mail program. Endless empty folders kept appearing. I was Googling forums and came upon information on how to get rid of WM problems. I dragged the folder to the desktop and made another folder with the exact same name - and rebooted. On reboot Windows sees the empty WindowsMail folder and recreates the mail program sans all the glitches and bugs. WM is working like brand new now. Not a bug to be found. :^) I then dragged the crippled buggy copy and it's folder to the recycle bin. I hope this helps someone else with WM who may be having all kinds of issues with it. Save valuable mail first. It took no more than a few minutes to accomplish. http://www.pcreview.co.uk/threads/gm...-mail.4066509/ "Ensure that "log on using secure password authentication" is not selected on the server tab of the accounts settings.
