The file is relatively small. You could ask a friend if they have a retail
copy of XP that you could borrow or ask him/her if he/she would copy the file to a floppy disk for you. Alternatively visit my website http://xphelpandsupport.mvps.org Click on the Contact Me tab and email me direct. We can sort something out from there. -- John Barnett MVP Associate Expert http://xphelpandsupport.mvps.org The information in this post is supplied "as is". NTBACKUP.EXE
I did email you at your website, John, thanks. I also thought of LimeWire and
downloaded a couple of versions of NTBACKUP.EXE from there. While running it, it seems to only want to back up selected data to a floppy ('A') drive, even though I select my 'G' burner drive as the destination. And it won't accept it! Does NTBACKUP.EXE only use floppies as a destination device? "John Barnett MVP" wrote: The file is relatively small. NTBACKUP.EXE
Floppy and tape only. Oh, it writes to CD/DVD too, if these are
UDF-formatted first. And I don't think it can span CD/DVDs... -- ************************************************** **** Most learned on these newsgroups Tumppi, Helsinki, FINLAND (translations from/to FI not always accurate) ************************************************** **** "Darrell" .(do not spam) kirjoitti ...
