Default Acrobat not printing

The other day, for some reason, i lost all my printers and had to reinstall them. This went ok but I have Acrobat 5.05 and it used to work fine....now, the Acrobat Distiller(i HOPE that's the right one) won't appear in the printer window whether i'm in Wor
d, Excel or any other program I used to make .pdf files from....i tried reinstalling Acrobat and still have the same problem....any ideas on how i lost my printers in the first place and how to get the option for Acrobat back?

After reinstalling, did you check for updates at Adobe.com website?
