Please clarify what you mean by "checking this crap all the time". Are you
getting error messages? If yes, please quote them exactly, without
paraphrasing. Do you get errors when you do something in particular? If yes,
tell us what that is.

None of my XP Pro boxen bother me about read/write checking - whatever that
is. While you're clarifying what you mean in your next post, please include
what you mean by "read/write checking", too.
