Default Add/Remove Program list

I have just purchased a Dell laptop with Vista capability but running the
Windows XP option. Everything appears to be running normal except in the
Add/Remove program. Installed Autocad 2002 shows a long blank space with no
text, so no way to uninstall. Had to download a cleanup utility do do the
uninstall. All other applications are reflected in list as normally. The
first time I saw this I didn't realize what was going on and thought I had
many applications not listed but discovered all applications in following
alphabetical order were there but had to scroll nearly to the botton to see
them. Dell says it may be incompatability with the XP service pak 3 used on
the laptop installed Windows XP operating system. Any ideas how to correct
this problem?

If by clean up utility you refer to the MS Installer cleanup utility, that
only removes the win installer files, and not the actual program.

Check out the following link.

The Kelly's Korner fix for Autocad mentioned by Yves Leclerc may solve your
problem.
