Default Please Help - Taskbar too high and won't resize

This sounds fundamental but I am using Windows XP (Home)
and my kids altered the height of the taskbar to double
it's previous size and now I can increase the height but
can't reduce it back to it's original size. If I try, it
completely dissapears. I am not using auto-hide and
never had these problems with W95, W98 or W2000
Professional (at work).
Can any body help me please?
Frustrated.

First thing it to right click the taskbar and make sure it's NOT locked.
Then, right click on toolbars on the taskbar (usually near the startbutton,
they'll have a row of icons there) and make sure they're NOT set to show
large icons, that should do it for you...

Sorry Lorne, but it didn't make any difference. Any other
suggestions?

You have to only have a single row to make the size one row high. If =
toolbars are on top of each other then you can't resize it to one cos =
they'd be 1/2 size.
