Default I need help w/ starting a program on login

I was wondering if anybody knows how to have a computer
program start up automatically when I login to my
computer?

My OS is Windows XP Home Edition and the program I would
like to start up upon login is Palm Desktop for Clie.

Thank you

Hello Spencer,

0 - Assuming that it is installed, launch the
application "Palm Desktop for Clie".
Look for an option to run the application on startup.
"Palm Desktop" usually has this feature.

Failing that,

1 - For the current user, Right-click [Start]| Explore |
-AND-
2 - For all users, Right-click [Start]| Explore All Users |
-THEN-
3 - Locate the shortcut to "Palm Desktop" in either of
these windows.
4 - Right-click-Drag this shortcut to
the "Programs\Startup" folder in the window that you
opened in step 1. Then click | Copy Here |

"Palm Desktop for Clie" should launch the next time you
logon.

Or you can make a copy of the shortcut and put it in the startup folder under
either 'documents and settings/all users/start menu/programs/startup' or for
just yourself: 'documents and settings/your account/start
menu/programs/startup'. Right click the properties and set it in minimized mode
so it doesn't open in a full window to interfere with your desktop view.
