Default NO FONTS

-----Original Message-----
I have Windows XP sp1 and my computer will at times

loose
all fonts after bootup. In place of fonts there are
various symbols. System restore will correct this but it
will last up to a week at most. At times my computer

will
auto reboot and loose fonts as well. I have scanned for
viruses and spyware. I have eliminated any chance of
progam incompatibility as I am now only running Windows
XP sp1 with Mcafee Virus Scanner 7.0 with latest updates.
I monitor current internet activity with Mcafee

firewall,
and suspect that Bootp server may be the problem. I am
currently blocking this server.
This problem has been occuring since early Jan 2004.
Is there a solution to this problem?
.
Here is some more info.

Several times my computer will keep rebooting and never
completely load windows, even when in safe mode.
An error has appears at times stating that Windows has
not loaded correctly, this also appears at times, then
the computer will reboot.
Also when I search for the font file I do find it but it
is empty.
When I manually try to restore the fonts only some are
restored. The only choices I have are 'fixedsys'
and 'system'.
This problem has occured several times today alone.
This problem happens when using either FAT32 file system
or NTFS.
If I leave my computer on, it will reboot by itself after
a time, which varies in the length of time this happens.
