Default Can't run programs from other users

I am not able to run some programs when logged in as
another user. Specifically the Palm desktop will not
run. It tries to start, but when prompting for the new
user name it gives the message unable to create account or
create directory.

Is this a problem with the user rights/permissions? Can
programs be restricted from users? if so, how?

Hi,

It probably needs to be installed tot he system under that user account. =
This is not unusual for software that is not "user aware". If the =
account in question is a limited account, right-click the installer and =
use "run as" to enter an admin level name and password.
