Default printers and multiple users

HP deskjet 3322 and an e machine w2247 with xp. The
printer works fine under my admin. user account but it
will not print under the limited accounts on the
computer. I have tried absolutely everything. If the
printer is set to print directly instead of spool it will
print but it takes forever

The only other alternative is to remove the actual program which is causing
the problem... which in 99.9% of cases is Norton Antivirus.

JK or Cari:

I have XP and an HP all-in-one and have the same issue with Limited users accounts and permissions to print. Using McAfee anti-virus s/w. I ended up "Sharing" the printer and I can now print from Limited users accounts. I am working on a standalone conn
ect to a cable modem and not networked internally to my home. I thought it was weird to Share the printer but it opened up the ability to print. Maybe this will help you.
