Calculating Time when date and times are separate
Greetings,
This is actually the Windows Messenger newsgroup, so you'll need to repost this in the appropriate newsgroup and in the language that you're programming in. However, as a hint, if you're using Visual Basic.NET or VBScript, you can use the DateDiff function for this: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/en...ctdatediff.asp ____________________________________________ Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Messenger/MSN Messenger Associate Expert http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/ Messenger Resources - http://messenger.jonathankay.com "brimil" wrote in message news how in a query do i calculate the time for example: 1/12/03 21:30 start time 1/13/03 01:00 end time the result I want to return in the above scenario would be 3:30 hours or 3.5 hours...I have the date and time fields separated.....
