Default Slow shutting down XP

My computer is 3 moths old. Recently, it takes very long
time to shut down almost like 1-2 minutes. It used to take
a few seconds.

1) How can I reduce the time?
2) Do I have to really worry that something is wrong with
it, or some one has set up something on my computer. I use
McAfee Anti-Virus. Computer came with Norton Anti-virus
program that ran for about 2 months.

Any help will be appreciated.

Do you have Logitech iTouch software installed? If so, removing that will
solve your problem (strange but true)

Andre.

Dear "Sat"
From what i observe, it's actually your p.c is having
a minor software conflict. It's not advisable to have too
much Utility's program on the same p.c and in the long
term it will cause more trouble then u having now.

1. choose either 1 of the anti virus utility (Mcafee or
Norton) and uninstall any one not needed.

2. Uninstall un necessarry utility program not needed for
your p.c.

3. run "Disk cleanup" regularly and also Disk
defragmentation at least once a week.

hope u got!

best of luck!
