Default single-click prog running

I think what you want to say is that you want to jump to your favourite web
page from your desktop with the convenience of just one click. Well,
actually two clicks can do it. What you need is to create a Shortcut to the
web site. If this is not what you mean, ignore what I am going to say.

A Shortcut is of course a remote opening icon switch as against a local one.
For a web site, open your Internet Explorer and go to the web page you want
a remote switch for. Move your mouse pointer to a 'clear' area, i.e. not
link or picture likely to be triggered to switch to another page, and
right-click. Click Create Shortcut on the context menus that follows. And
after a confirmation dialog box, job is done. Indeed, as you said "it
should be easy to find".

By the way, there are a lot of interesting stuff in Help and Support ( on
Start Menus). Just type "shortcut" in the Search textbox and click Go.

Happy computing.
