Moving folder from C to D
Hi Chris,
Which exact folder are you trying to move ? If it is a shell folder like My Documents then you can right-drag it to the new location and click on "move" once you are prompted to. If it is any other folder please let me know. -- All the best, Anando "Chris" wrote in message ... How do I move a folder from my C partition to my D partition and have all the paths in the registry point to the new location. In Win98 I use to do this using Partition Magic 4 using a program called Magic Mover but since PM 4 isn't compatible with WinXP I can't use it. I'm using version 8 of PM and it doesn't look like it has the same program. Is this capability built into WinXP or can someone recommend a 3rd party utility that will do this? Moving folder from C to D
I want to move an application that I installed on drive C and move it to
drive D. I'd prefer not having to uninstall and reinstall since I'll lose my preferences I've setup. Chris Anando" wrote in message ... Hi Chris, Which exact folder are you trying to move ?
