Removing Program from Startup & Password Storage
If another one of these questions from me shows up again -
please ignore - I had posted this at about 7 this AM & when it didn't show up did it again this afternoon! Thank you ever so much! Both things worked perfectly! The program had nothing that I could find to disable the option - that's why I was so stuck about it, and it never occurred to me to do something so SIMPLE as hit the delete key - geez! Thanks again! -----Original Message----- As for the first problem, usually there is a feature within the program's options settings to disable a systray icon. Look for that first. If no joy, go to Start|Run... and type in msconfig and hit enter. Now go to the Startup tab and uncheck the offending program. This should disable it next reboot. You will get a warning message on reboot that you are using "selective startup". Put a check in the box to never get warned again (if you wish). As for #2, just delete the wrong name in the username box by highlighting it and hitting the delete key. Then enter the new name and password again. Hope this helped! |
