Open windows do not show on start bar
Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete, Process Tab, end all explorer.exe and iexplore.exe
processes . Type regedit in File - Rum Delete these three keys. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\StuckRĀ*ects2 HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\StreamĀ*s HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\StreamĀ*sMRU Back in Task Manager choose Shutdown menu - Reboot. "Betafite" wrote: I have a recent HP laptop with WINXP PRO at SP3. Sometime recently, perhaps when XP3 was installed, open windows no longer appear as buttons on the start bar. "Hide Inactive Icons" is not set. As it is now I do not know when a window is minimized and have no way to swap to another window from the start bar. Any suggestions? Thanks. |
