Heyyo,

Have you tried "locking the taskbar"? just right-click on it, and hit the "lock the taskbar" option, and it should never move again.

Uhh, if it does, then someone keeps messing with it, or can be a virus. Lol, I've seen a virus that moved icons around on your desktop when you tried to double-click on them.

I have seen that prank, the moving icon, that is funny too.
My problem is not the icons moving when I try to click them, it is that they
shuffle themselves from left to right, randomly. The one on the left will
disappear and reappear later on the right side.

I cannot recreate a situation that causes this behavior, but locking the
taskbar does not solve the problem.

This is a secure station, nobody else has access to "mess" with it.

Hmmm....

Thanks for the reply

Heyyo,

Hmm, yeah, somewhere on the net I found a registry entry that reset your explorer bar, search for it, n' it should return it to its default look. Hopefully after that, whatever caused your icon movements should stop. If not? well, I dunno then. I'm stil
