Default WMIDiag error message - how to restore NT Authority\Self ?

I have the following error message from a WMIDiag run:

22409 04:14:12 (0) ** DCOM security for 'My Computer' (Access
Permissions/Edit Default): ..................................................
MODIFIED.
22410 04:14:12 (1) !! ERROR: Default trustee 'NT AUTHORITY\SELF' has been

the trustee.
22421 04:14:12 (0) ** Removing default security will cause some

22422 04:14:12 (0) ** It is possible to fix this issue by editing the
security descriptor and adding the ACE.
22423 04:14:12 (0) ** For DCOM objects, this can be done with
'DCOMCNFG.EXE'.

22427 04:14:12 (0) ** DCOM security error(s) detected:
.................................................. ................................... 1.

I cannot find any account called Self in any groups, nor does it exist as a
user.

Can someone help me to fix this problem? (ie, give fairly clear
step-by-step instructions as I think this might be a bit complex)

I'm comfortable in the registry, and somewhat comfortable in the component
services area - I just experienced that today for the first time.

(I've already fixed a different one involving security in the Component
Services area, which was cleared up in this WMIDiag run).

Thank you!
