user password protected folder
Was running xp home edition. loaded xp professional.
one of the user accounts had a password protect on it. can not access the my documents my settings folder which was only accessible thru the password protected user account.

Boot the PC into Safe Mode (see Help and Support). Now, you'll be able to
access the Security tab in Folder Properties. Then you can "take ownership".
