user password protected folder

Default user password protected folder

Was running xp home edition. loaded xp professional.
one of the user accounts had a password protect on it.
can not access the my documents my settings folder
which was only accessible thru the password protected
user account.

See if taking ownership of the folder helps.

Default user password protected folder

Boot the PC into Safe Mode (see Help and Support). Now, you'll be able to
access the Security tab in Folder Properties. Then you can "take
ownership". See Help and Support and search for "take ownership"
