Oh, yes, it ia all a matter of taste, really.

I was weaned on Buckeye.

Still haven't found a better beer. But I don't know if I'm tryin' to
compare the hops...or the nostalgia! lol

Corona was too messy for me, because my thumb was not big enough to flip the
limes. )

As per Grolsh, that was it! The bottles were handy.

For a light beer, an ice-cold Corona isn't bad, especially on a hot, sunny
day at the beach. Heineken was OK while I lived in England and could get
the real thing, but I find the import version to pale in comparison.

BTW, do they still come in those bottles with the flip latches (proper
description needed here)? We had a frequent out of state guest that
would visit, who drank the same, and I'd use the bottles for my baby ivy
plants in the kitchen. )

I've seen bottled and canned Guinness, and even tried them in a moment of
desperation, but I wouldn't recommend them to any one. The only way to
truly appreciate Guinness is as a slowly and properly pulled draught.

I've never seen Guinness in a bottle with anything that could be described
as a "flip latch," but a do recall one imported beer available in New
England like that. I "think" it was German, and the name did start with a
"G." I want to say "Groeschler," or something like that, but I really
can't remember, now.

I don't think Heineken did that - it was Grolsch, a very fine beer, and
I think they still do on it when produced and sold in Holland; but not
in Export or franchised versions

My other favorite is Czech Budweiser Budvar - a far cry from
Annheuser/Busch. I try to have some around when Americans visit, just
to see their faces on being offered a Bud

There was a young girl named Ahheuser
Who said that no man could surprise her.
But Pabst took a chance,
Found Schlitz in her pants,
And now she is sadder Budweiser.

Oh, but it could be worse, Bruce:

The Computer Swallowed Grandpaw

The computer swallowed grandpaw.
Yes, honestly its true.
He pressed 'control' and 'enter'
And disappeared from view.

It devoured him completely,
The thought just makes me squirm.
He must have caught a virus
Or been eaten by a worm.

I've searched through the recycle bin
And files of every kind;
I've even used the internet,
But nothing did I find.

In desperation, I asked Jeeves
My searches to refine.
The reply from him was negative,
Not a thing was found 'online'.

So, if inside your 'Inbox,'
My Grandpaw you should see,
Please 'Copy', 'Scan' and 'Paste' him
And send him back to me!

Thank's To all that responded
Firstly to the the most responses by answer, BEER , ???? . Didn't fix da
problem.
If you do not want to worry about the problem.
Then go source some " CHIMAY Royal Reserve with the blue label"
Made by trapist monks in belguim since 1862 @ 9% alcohol . ( what a buzz )
$18.00 au a 750ml bottle an worth every cent. ( cheaper by the case )

To those whom helped with answers, A HEARTY "THANK YOU! "

Being impatient . I did a upgrade install with a retail version over the oem
version
all went pretty well , A few drivers had to be downloaded an installed.
Activation was flawless an done online with a minimun of fuss.

The next an subsequent boots , Went to activation, Also flawless, An online.
Thinking , How many times can this be flawless an can I be bothered going
thru this procedure every time I boot the computer. I decided to delete every
file
I could find that had something to do with the reset501 service .

3 in the registry an about 5 elsewhere , And a boot into safemode to delete
reset5.dll.

And no more activation needed on boot up. Yea!

I also suspect I can change many part's in the system , And activation will
be easy via online.

So , Pouring another glass of chimay , I feel pretty good , The computer is
working pretty good. All seems well . Wishing everybody a great day.

Best Regards
Lyle

Hi , Back in december 03 , I purchased what was supposed to be a full version
of xp home on Ebay. It turned out to be a oem version that would not
activate. When I complained to the seller , He send me a program called
Reset501. Whiched worked fine till now. So it is time to fix the problem.
If I go buy a retail xp home . Is there a way to install it , without doing
a fresh install.
Regards
Lyle

May I ask what was the exact retail version you used and how did you
initiate the upgrade?
1. What Version?
2. Did you boot from the CD?
3. Did you upgrade from the running Windows XP?
4. Were you given the option to upgrade if you installed from Windows?
5. Was this a true upgrade?
6. Were your applications working after the upgrade?

Thanks for any feedback you can give.

Hi Michael . Windows Version 5.1 Build 2600.xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158:service
pack 2

System booted with oem version , note sp2 had never been installed, And 3
seperate security updates had been installed , Resulting in a You Have 7 Days
To Activate Windows Message being generated.

With oem xp running , I shut down firewall and anti virus, Droped the new
windows cd in the drive , A menu appeared , I selected Install Windows, The
next window had a selection of upgrade windows or new installation of windows.

I selected Upgrade and off it went and 59 minutes later it was finished
The onboard video controller is for DX8 , I had to get a updated driver from
intel
to get back to 1024x768 . Had to reload scanner drivers. Every thing else
worked fine. The motherboard has a onboard raid controller. With the
origional xp install back in dec 03 , I had to load a driver for it at the
start of the install.
This time windows found the driver during the upgrade.
I think it is a upgrade , There are a few more icons in the control panel .

The only drama was that every time the system booted. The windows activation
screen appeared then I activated windows online, 6 Times this happened.
So then I went and deledted everything to do with reset5 and all is well

Hope This Info Is Helpfull
Lyle
