Default Windows Media Player

I think I am having problems viewing some video clips because my Windows
Media Player is not working properly. I have tired to delete it completely
but have had no sucess with it. It says someone or some program is using it
and can not delete it at this time. I have no idea what program would be
using it. However, how can I delete windows media player from my computer.
I want to reinstall it after that.

Thanks

It can't be deleted.

You can however go to www.microsoft.com/windowsmedia and download a new
version.
