I haven't decided to do a fresh install yet but if I don't find an
answer in a couple of weeks I might have to.

Just give up on Firefox and find an alternative. It's getting more
bloated and has rendering problems with many sites (I have to use
the add-on 'open with IE' to visit such sites).

Had Firefox installed but I goofed and deleted something that I
shouldn't have. So I got rid of the rest of FF and tried reloading
that's when the problem arose. I made sure that there were no traces of
FF left.
Never had to use IE tab on any site. Also never had rendering problems.

Never ran into that problem. Is it seen on anyother website than Khan
Academy?

That was just a Google for an example. It's really a nuisance in
WordPress.

use WordPress.
