Windows Isn’t a Service;=?iso-8859-1?Q?It=E2= System
“Windows as a Service” is failing. It’s obvious: Windows is not a service, and never was. It’s a desktop operating system, and it doesn’t need updates every six months. Even iOS and Android only get significant updates once per year.

It worked well. I had probably messed up my machine because it wasn't powerful enough for World of Warcraft. It is much quicker now. |

Interesting comments to that article, as on here many are pretty clueless but a few realise that MSFT gets little revenue from users of earlier versions of Windows; running it as a service is one way to generate ongoing revenue, and that seems fair enough.
