Default Adding a DVD burner

I'm going to remove me CDRW burner and replace it with the
NEC ND-1300A DVD/CD burner. I have Windows XP prof. with
all the latest upgrades and service packs. I would like to
know can I still capture video/audio from my digital
camcorder using Movoemaker 2 like i do now and burn it to
a DVD vice a cd? Will i need to install NERO or ROXIO to
do this process now? Thanks.

Yes, what i do is capture the video from the camcorder using
intervideo win DVR 3.0. This saves the files as an mpg file. Then i
fire up roxio 6 dvd builder and create a dvd ( or vcd ), with menus
and eveything.

If you prefer and you have a fast enough pc you can capture burn the
dvd directly from the camcorder.

regards

paul
