Default Repair Install Fails & Reboots during setup

I am having great difficulties on repair setup.
I insert the xp cd & then select r for repair & goes to device set up & asks
for a disk or file called viaagp1.sys & I click cancel cause I had no disk &
rebooted & started over & I slaved the drive & copied it to drivers in
system 32 like my other one has & ran ok & still rebooted during setup. I
can't take the device out as its part of the main board. I tried to put a
different video card in no difference. If I slave the drive again what areas
should I delete I going to try to delete all drivers directory in system32 &
let xp do it. When I first installed did not need any 3rd party disk's &
also delete inf directory & see if it goes through. Any other suggestions? I
do not want to install fresh as I need software already installed & don't
have cd's disks etc.

viaagp1sys & i put it in & then when it restarts it boots & i see windoes xo
logo b4 the setup screen & reboots, prior to it it get to device part & asks
for viaagp1.sys file & then reboots. it dont get that far now cause i slaved
