Default "Mute" in Messenger 7

I posted this same message 2 days ago.......I
saw no response, but was there one that I
missed somehow?

I uncheck "Mute", and proceed to videoconference.
I shut down, and when I start up again,
"Mute" is again checked and I have to uncheck it.
Is there a way to set it as unchecked as a default?
Thanks.....
